Our Wonderful World

Our Wonderful World

The God made wonderful things
Trees, animals and other living things.
He made them all
Even the mountais, plains and waterfalls.

Our world is full of trees,
People cut them down.
There are flowers stinged by bees,
That gives smile like a clown

Kaingin, muroami fishing and mining;
Destroys are environment and nature.
Improper fishing and log burning;
The world needs cure.

The God give us a wonderful world;
We need to protect it.
It give us food we eat;
We are stewards of nature.

What A Wonderful World

As a student, what have you done to protect our environment? Do you know why we need to conserve our wildlife?  We must make a conscious effort to conserve the world's plants and animals. Plants are essential for our own survival. Plants use the sun's energy to make food—a process called photosynthesis.
Therefore plants are the first important link in the food chain of which humans also form a part. During photosynthesis, oxygen is released and oxygen is vital for the existence of life itself.
Animals need plants in order to survive, but plants also need animals. Animals and plants are therefore delicately bound together. The removal of even one species of animal/plant can drastically alter the ecosystem. Isn't this frightening?
Our own survival may be threatened if we cause too much disruption to the natural processes that occur on this Earth. Destruction of rain forests, for example, has reduced the local rainfall. A further reduction in rainfall will increase desert areas.
We need to preserve our wildlife as well. We use many plants and animals to supply us with food, materials, chemicals, etc. If we continue to exploit these species to a point where they cannot replenish themselves, they will no longer be available to us.
Gradually if we manage to destroy most of the world's animals and plants, the Earth will become barren. For a moment, let us stop being selfish. Do we have the right to destroy animals and plants which have as much right as us, humans, to share this planet?
All life on Earth, be it humans, animals or plants, is the product of millions of years of evolution. This tiny planet is the only one we know of on which life exists. Therefore, we need to learn to co-exist with the species which have evolved with us, and take active steps to ensure their survival.

Putting Twist on the Story of Romeo and Juliet

It is hard to put twist on great novels. I am going to put twist on the story of Romeo and Juliet. “Romeo and Juliet” is a famous novel created by William Shakespeare.
                After Romeo killed Paris, he took the poison. After drinking the poison, Juliet arrived and kissed him. The poison from the lips of Romeo transferred to Juliet. Juliet died because of saving Romeo. Romeo woke up and he saw Juliet lying on the ground. He knows that Juliet died because of saving him. He saw a dagger and he stabbed himself. The Capulet and Montague realized what they did and they decided to make a statue of Romeo and Juliet.

Romeo and Juliet

William Shakespeare was born to John Shakespeare and mother Mary Arden sometime in late April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon. There is no record of his birth, but his baptism was recorded by the church, thus his birthday is assumed to be the 23 of April. His father was a prominent and prosperous alderman in the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, and was later granted a coat of arms by the College of Heralds. All that is known of Shakespeare's youth is that he presumably attended the Stratford Grammar School, and did not proceed to Oxford or Cambridge. The next record we have of him is his marriage to Anne Hathaway in 1582. The next year she bore a daughter for him, Susanna, followed by the twins Judith and Hamnet two years later.

 Seven years later Shakespeare is recognized as an actor, poet and playwright, when a rival playwright, Robert Greene, refers to him as "an upstart crow" in A Groatsworth of Wit. A few years later he joined up with one of the most successful acting troupe's in London: The Lord Chamberlain's Men. When, in 1599, the troupe lost the lease of the theatre where they performed, (appropriately called The Theatre) they were wealthy enough to build their own theatre across the Thames, south of London, which they called "The Globe." The new theatre opened in July of 1599, built from the timbers of The Theatre, with the motto "Totus mundus agit histrionem" (A whole world of players) When James I came to the throne (1603) the troupe was designated by the new king as the King's Men (or King's Company). The Letters Patent of the company specifically charged Shakespeare and eight others "freely to use and exercise the art and faculty of playing Comedies, Tragedies, Histories, Inerludes, Morals, Pastorals, stage plays ... as well for recreation of our loving subjects as for our solace and pleasure."

 Shakespeare entertained the king and the people for another ten years until June 19, 1613, when a canon fired from the roof of the theatre for a gala performance of Henry VIII set fire to the thatch roof and burned the theatre to the ground. The audience ignored the smoke from the roof at first, being to absorbed in the play, until the flames caught the walls and the fabric of the curtains. Amazingly there were no casualties, and the next spring the company had the theatre "new builded in a far fairer manner than before." Although Shakespeare invested in the rebuilding, he retired from the stage to the Great House of New Place in Statford that he had purchased in 1597, and some considerable land holdings, where he continued to write until his death in 1616 on the day of his 52nd birthday.

William Shakespeare has created great pieces like “Romeo and Juliet”. This novel is one Shakespeare’s masterpiece. This play is about the two lovers who fight for the sake of love. They died because of the feud between their families.

If I were going to change the ending of play “Romeo and Juliet”.  I would make a happy ending for the story. Romeo receives the message of Juliet. And, Paris will agree to decision of Juliet. Romeo and Juliet will live happily and the feud between their families would stop. Months later, they have their own family and would become famous in Verona.

My Ideal Family

A family is a group of people affiliated by consanguinity and affinity. There are also concepts of family that break with tradition within particular societies, or those that are transplanted via migration to flourish or else cease within their new societies.
Filipinos highly value the presence of their families more than anything. Regardless of the liberal influence they have gotten from the west, the family remained the basic unit of their society. This trait clearly shows among Filipinos abroad who suffer homesickness and tough work just to support their families back home in the Philippines.
My ideal family is happy, big, caring and has fear on God. My ideal family is like the kind of family that I have now. I have a protective and strong father and a caring mother. I also have siblings that help me I had problems. We are happy having each other.
I have the most perfect family for my. In the future, I wish to have a family like the family that I have right now.
